The College Experience: Chapter 2 - The College Dress Code of a Boss, and the utter confusion

In college there will be plenty of moments thrown at you when you have to dress up in some formal fashion.
You have classes that require an "appropriate dress attire" for projects as simple as a presenting a web page about who you are and what you are interested in.

In my perspective walking into a classroom dressed up about to present a web page describing how I am a guitarist who gets tattoos on a regular basis and designs them while also displaying all my favorite rock songs ranging from Staind to Avenged Sevenfold is like having a so called "business man" walk into a room for an interview to later find out he didn't have any experience in the area of work he was interviewing for, he was just a random hobo who walked in the front door with a nice suit acting like he owned the place, it just doesn't work well together and it gets you to using the phrase
"And I was very confused", quoted from a wise speaker of the realization of confusion, Forrest Griffin.

These moments in your college life can become confusing as to why you are require to dress up for something as significant as let say a project you were required to present in formal dress ware and it being an informal sales let about why you should buy our weed-be-gone. It doesn't make any sense but we are still required to do it.

This is just another example of what to expect from college. Have formal dress attire and be prepared to wear it to present on a topic like "why your toothpaste is better than the next guys". Better make the toothpaste sound better than Colgate or you accomplished nothing other than going in front of your class to talk about a chalky toothpaste that probably tastes like week old leftovers while wearing a suit. Yeah, see what I mean. Almost pointless, except for the suit wearing part, that is just Boss like.

The College Experience: Chapter 1- Did that Just really happen?

With every college experience you can bet you will have plenty of "Did that just really happen?" moments. It comes with the territory. Some more shocking than other, but surprisingly enough you start to get used to those weird unexplainable moments. Here are just a few I have experienced in my three years of going to college.

Going out to eat lunch with your friends and noticing a guy walking down the street wielding a crossbow. Then remembering earlier that you also saw another guy who was wielding a machete heading in the direction that the other man was coming. Hmm, sounds like SOMEONE owed SOMEBODY some money.. or they dissed da momma. Both are bad.

The experience of your first day of a new semester on campus consisted of a chick running around in her underwear, while three fights spread out across campus were taking place and  to top it off getting the chance to witness the Untouchables, but with CATS. Yeah for some reason there are tons of cats so try to guess what was going through my head. No not nothing! It was more along the lines of "Why are they all staring at me? Do I look like tuna or something? This is creeping me out a little"

Witnessing your best friend trip and land on his stomach. Not knowing how he tripped he just did, and managed to role his ankle in the process. When trying to find the culprit of the big  man drop the only clue that was found was a pine cone all to itself looking all menacing. He wouldn't admit it was the pine cone he managed to trip on and started to look for a hole in  the ground. Five minutes later there was no hole found, the pine cone was still sitting there waiting for its next victim, and I was laughing my head off because.. Who manages to trip on a pine cone?

So yeah, this will give you a little idea on what to look out for if it is a new semester for you or the whole college experience is new. I guarantee you will be saying "Did that Just really happen?" accompanied by a few chuckles.
